Job Description
The Architectural Inspector works under the direction of the Assistant Resident Engineer and is responsible for carrying out Architectural related works inspections of the Contractors work. The Architectural Inspector works closely with CAD to verify compliance of the Contractors work drawings and specifications.

To be plan/prepare daily schedule and manage priorities and critical activities in order to complete Architectural related works inspection of the work without undue delay to the Contractor.

Inspect Architectural related works according to the Request for Inspection (RFI) forms that are submitted by the Contractor. If the works are rejected, the reason for the rejection must be clearly indicated on the RFI by the Inspector.

Maintain familiarity with the Architectural related drawings, specification, standard details and all other information relevant to the standard of workmanship and quality of the works. Consult with the Assistant Resident Engineer and each disciplines Engineer (as necessary) for clarification regarding matters related to the quality of the work.

Notify the contractors agent, and escalate to Assistant Resident Engineer whenever required, any deficiency or violation in applying the safety instructions by the contractor staff.

Maintain a daily site diary and report to the Assistant Resident Engineer and each disciplines Engineer on daily activities and work done.

Understand supervision function procedures and practices and take the opportunity to increase skill level and capability through on the job training exposure.

Witness and closely supervise all Architectural related works performed according to regulations and Conditions of contract.

Read and understand HR, Quality and HSE Policies and adhere to all applicable Company and country regulations in each of the policies.
