Role and Responsibilities
Prospect new potential clients and maintain existing customers relationship
Generate project/business opportunities and RFP's (Request for Proposal) through customer contact to meet company's business plans and growth strategies
Drive the sales process from inquiry/RFP coordination through Closing the Deal
Collaborate with the Management to prepare and implement the company's Marketing and Business Development Plan and strategy for meeting business goals
Track and report current status of potential projects, markets, Customer news, and developments
Lead the development and preparation of RFP's, Pre-Qualification, formal presentations
Ensure all communication with customers are in accordance with our standards and correct in content and format
Follow up with the client along the execution of a project
Conduct post mortems with clients upon completion of their project
Negotiate potential contract adaptations or extensions when needed
Liaise internally with other departments such as Commercial, Operation, Finance, Human Resources
Act as a resource person for management with respect to sales and marketing issues
Effective delivery and execution of our value proposition
Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business.
Cold call as appropriate within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities. * Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.
Understand the companys goal and purpose so that will continual to enhance the companys performance.
The business development manager must have the ability to generate new ideas and concept that will boost the companys success.
Should possess the ability to analyze new business opportunities with potential, and then going ahead to pursue them
The manager must be able to interact with clients and subordinates effectively and get them motivated to achieve companys objectives
Possess the ability to be flexible and multi-tasking
The manager should be able to pitch goods and services to new clients and should have the ability to develop goals and implement procedures for their accomplishment
8-12 Years of previous Sales or business development experience in the construction Sector
Candidate should have an degree Sales / Marketing major preferred)
Should be highly flexible & adaptable and able to work effectively with multicultural workforce
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Previous Qatar experience is a must
GCC Driving license required
