Customer Service

• Handle customer inquiry via phone, e-mail and face to face meeting;

• Communicate with the customer in accordance to existing communication guidelines where applicable;

• Execute and fulfill the customer shipment booking on timely and professional manner according to customer requirements and expectation;

• Take the full ownership of a customer’s inquiry and solving their problem with a "CAN-Do" attitude;

• Proactively keep the customer updated on the status of their order until final delivery;

• Proactively react to any kind of irregularity by offering professional knowledge and possible alternative solutions to the customer;

• Attentive to details on customer requirements and expectation by careful listening and proactive communication;

• Provide accurate, precise and quick answers or information to customer inquiry or concern;

• Serve the customer with integrity and embrace the company code of conduct. 

Procurement /Vendor Development: 
• Negotiations with competitive price with transport vendors, port/shipping agencies and requests for quotation (RFQs);

• Coordination of transport activities on a day to day basis to ensure effective cargo transportation from point of collection up to delivery;

• Analyze and suggest cost-effective logistics/shipping solutions

• Negotiating terms of business with various external vendors and service providers, review variations in price, delivery and specifications and overseeing the closing of sales, ensuring all is communicated through correct channels internally and externally.

• Execute the shipment booking by following the SOP and quotation in combination with company standards. 

Job Specification:

Degree/Diploma in International Business, Transportation, Logistics, Customs or a related field preferred; 5+ years’ experience in customer service and vendor negotiations/pricing in UAE/Gulf.

Excellent customer service experience required, additional administrative / data entry experience.


• High sense of responsibility;

• Well organized, detailed oriented and good communication skills;

• Excellent communication in English (verbal and written) and presentation skills;

• Strong organizational and time management skills required, including the proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with time-sensitive deadlines;
