Create and develop and domestic transport business vertical and manage all operational activities of the country, in order to maintain the set service parameters to achieve customer satisfaction through a standardized operations process at optimum cost.
Identify and develop vendors (Vehicles/Outsourced PUD Team and delivery Agents), negotiate and agree the contractual commercial terms & conditions for operations.
Evaluate domestic vendor performance and write new KPI for vendors.
Manage sourcing of the vehicles for own fleet development & development of the vendors & outsource agencies.
Bachelor’s Degree/Management Degree holders with 15 years previous experience in Logistics/Domestic Transport industries managing transport business vertical for complete Pan India Operations.
Understanding of Transportation Modes, Rate Structures, RFP, Performance.
Deliver initiatives on time and achieving financial commitments.
Position requires extensive background in DOT Compliance, Developing & Executing Operating Budgets, Automated Routing Systems, Transportation Management Systems, and Proficiency with all MS Office Applications.
Requires extensive travel across Pan India depending on the business requirement.
