C. Years of Experience needed : At least 10 years working experience and advanced training in IT and MIS from a financial services / banking or business environment or equivalent combination of education and experience, Several years of work experience within the startup and FinTech environment in a position as CTO, Head of Development or Senior Developer with team responsibility

D. Field of Expertise :Information Technology, Financial Technology, advanced skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation, mainframe computer system, software programs, constructing machine learning algorithms

E. Other Skills needed : Big data, BI and data analytics skills, Strong decision making ability and hands-on mentality, databases (SQL,NoSQL,key-value), ES6, HTML5 & CSS3, server & hosts (Node, Nginx, Apache, AWS, Heroku, etc.), source code & automation (git, grunt,gulp, bower, etc), OO & functional languages (Java, C, C++, Scala, R, Python, etc.), apps (swift, obj-c, Java) and frameworks & tools (AngularJS, React.JS, jQuery, Spark etc.), Track record in building scalable architectures and in managing complex IT projects

E. Job Description(If applicable) :

General direction and guidance on IT & MIS strategy, targets and policies and procedures. In addition to developing and delivering solutions according to the approved works program with adherence to budget, regulatory and quality requirements.

JOB PURPOSE

The purpose of this role is to contribute to the overall strategic Vision and direction of the organization

To provide overall leadership and direction to the IT & MIS team ensuring that their activities are effectively and efficiently managed and delivered to a high standard to support business plans and priorities.

To provide guidance and expertise to the CEO and Management Team on IT & MIS management including advice on new system enhancements and developments ensuring fitness for purpose and value for money.

To ensure that IT & MIS practices comply with Policy and confirm to acknowledged system security standards.

Tasks

Together with the CEO and the CCO you are responsible for overall success

Construction of the fundamental IT architecture and coordination of selecting and developing the most suitable data infrastructures and technologies

Management of the development team, quality team and IT infrastructure team including responsibility for enhancing performance of the team as a whole, as well as individual performance

Developing a technology focused company culture and brand

Responding effectively to the day to day technical challenges, and provide consultancy to the IT Development Team in order to adhere and promote adoption and use of company standards and policies.

Promoting and enabling an agile development environment and lean processes in line with product management

Coordination of the ongoing development with all IT teams with respect to clearly defined KPIs and steering of goals and expectations

Responsible for actually integrating and running the technology, i.e. the role of the IT operations manager and make sure its highly available and responsive according to the central bank requirements and SLA

Evaluates new technology and makes recommendations on technological solutions
