The Organization:
Our client is a leading private healthcare provider in UAE offering international level services in healthcare. Their reach is through a specialized care hospital and more than 20 outpatient centres. They are proud of their progressive facilities and services, complemented by the latest technology supporting the most advanced surgical and diagnostic procedures.

Duties & Responsibilities:
This position takes care of the overall management of the nurses and midwives on the labour and delivery ward.
•Works with CNO to determine the optimal allocation of staff, per shift on each unit;
•Serves as administrative authority for the smooth function of all units on assigned shift;
•Supervises staff and assures survey compliance on a daily basis. Provides guidance and support to staff to better plan work flow;
•Provides clinical expertise in the management of medical emergencies.

Skills & Competencies:
•Good organizational and analytical skills;
•Ability to balance supervisory and administrative tasks and clinical care;
•Excellent leadership skills; providing guidance and advice to a team of nurses;
•Knowledge and experience to answer staff and patient questions on a wide range of topics;
•Strong written communication skills

Education & Qualifications:
•Bachelor Degree in Nursing or Midwifery;
•HAAD/DHA/MOH license (or at least eligibility);
•Overall experience of 10+ years in nursing;
•Minimum of 5 years’ recent experience in leadership role in this specific department
