Job Description:

The company:

A leading Bahraini insurance company is engaged in an offshore insurance business in KSA is looking for an experienced Operational Risk Analyst for KSA branch.
The company is a well-known in the Saudi insurance market and it offers all classes of insurance.

Responsibilities and Duties:

· Design and implement the operational risk framework throughout.

· Undertake a key functional and advisory role contributing to the achievement of the company's objectives and the credit rating processes.

· Uphold the company's ethics, operating policies and conform with the department work instructions.
· Prepares reports and reviews on the Operational Risk of all business units, including support functions, recommendations and action plans.
· Reviews policies, practices and procedures to identify business improvement opportunities.
· Develops and monitors key risk indicators relating to the assigned risk areas.
· Coordinates "Risk and Control Self-Assessment" workshops for the company.
· Formulates and implements Business Continuity Management for the company.
· Undertakes process re-engineering/re-designing exercises and periodically assesses business and process-flows to identify potential risks.
· Reports immediately to the line Manager all material and significant breaches or potential breaches to the limits or any noncompliance to the company's policies and procedures.
· Prepares periodical risk analyses and presentations for specific job requirements.
· Keeps abreast of key developments in the area of risk management.
· Assists the line Manager as and when required.
· Assists in preparation of the company's rating projects and all related analysis.

Requirement:

· Bachelor degree in Finance or qualitative discipline.
· Prior risk management or risk measurement experience.
· Minimum 2-3 years' experience in financial services / Insurance Industry with an operational focus.
· Familiarity or experience with Solvency II or Basel III regulations is a plus.
