Responsible for vendor source of inspection (Assisted by approved vendor inspectors), in-process & final inspection, documentation and associated quality control activities for the equipment/materials purchased intended for the project. - Review requisitions and purchase orders for compliance with contract requirements - Preparation of purchase order(s) inspection assignment packages - Review of sub-vendors quality procedures - Establish agenda for pre-inspection meetings - Scheduling and coordination of source inspection - Ensure inspection assignment packages are correctly distributed - Assist QC inspectors in all aspects of their work to ensure that all project requirements are fulfilled and that all inspections required are carried out and correctly recorded - Prepare complete list of inspectable and non-inspect able materials for the project - Review of Purchase Requisition Submittals (PRS) with Approved vendor/ manufacturer and compliance with the acceptable standards - Review Purchase Order in compliance to approved Purchase Requisition Submittals (PRS). - Coordination to pre-inspection meetings for procurement of materials - Establishing Agenda for Pre-inspection Meeting - Supervision/preparation of Final Inspection Disposition Report. - Planning employing and seeking approval from client qualified personnel for inspection activities - Preparation and submittal of Procurement Two- week look ahead Schedule, 5-days inspection notice and weekly inspection/ Fabrication Status.
Desired Candidate Profile
University degree holder or equivalent with 7 years inspection experience/High school diploma with 10 years inspection experience - Having a minimum of 3 years directly relating to supervision of vendor inspection activities in the contract scope of work (e.g. Oil & gas and petrochemical projects; infrastructure; communication) - Based in Saudi and Holder of Transferable Iqama - Working in an EPC Contractor - Must have Oil & Gas background and piping project experience - Preferably Saudi Aramco project experience with Saudi Aramco approval
