Job Scope:

The candidate in question will be responsible for comprehensive understanding& application of principles, theories, concepts, industry practices andstandards in addition to performing work of complex scope. He will need to workunder general supervision while participating in setting assignment objectives;work is reviewed for adequacy on completion. This is an intermediatelevel position.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Identifying and communicating the project objectives and execution strategy to the project team.
  • Organizing the project team in consultationwith department managers and the GES+ Program team and agreeing the assignment of key project personnel.
  • Providing hand-on, detailed direction and leadership tothe project team, motivating the team towards achievingspecified project objectives.
  • Achieving scheduled performance, cost, quality and HSErequirements in accordance with contractual requirements.
  • Acting as the primary contact with the clientand maintain excellent client relations.
  • Negotiating all contract changes with the client.
  • Preparing and issuing the project execution plan, project procedures, project quality planand other key project documentation
  • Managing the activities of all disciplinesinvolved with the project.
  • Maintaining the progress of the work undercontinual review in accordance with projectbudget, schedule, quality and HSE objectives.
  • Being the principal problem solver in pursuit of project objectives, takingtimely and effective corrective actions as necessary.
  • Providing regular progress reports to client and Jacobs ZATE senior managementincluding formal presentations as required.
  • Reviewing and approving of project deliverables prior to issue.
  • Acting as a contact between Jacobs ZATE and client’s engineeringrepresentative.
  • Ensuring the timely issue to the client ofcorrect invoices and the expediting of payment in accordancewith the contract
  • Coordinate with other functional Managers toensure correct implementation of projectcontrol/business procedures and requirements and has overall responsibilityfor project control/business activities.
  • Reviews and closely monitors project schedule and cost to ensure schedule and budgetobjectives are met.
  • Manage a teamof Document Controllers, Cost Engineers, Planning Engineers & ProjectControl Engineers.
  • Responsible for Project Progress Reports and tracking Budgets, Cost Reports, Cash flow,Planning, Forecasting, Chair meetings and Scenario Analysis.
  • Must have thorough knowledge of project control/business practices, calculation methods/software, standards,procedures, and specifications. Responsible for obtaining the necessaryproject control/business resources to plan and execute the work.
  1. Candidatesmust have 18 years or more ofBuildings & Infrastructure/Oil &Gas project experience.
  2. Candidatesmust hold an Engineering DegreeQualification or equivalent from a government recognized institution.
  3. Candidateswho have EPC experience and/ orprevious experience working with a government institution or one of its’ subsidiariesare preferred.
  4. Candidateswith experience working within GCCcountries (Saudi Arabia/United Arab Emirates/Qatar/Kuwait/Oman) will begiven first preference.
  5. Excellentinterpersonal and communication skills
