Job Description
QA/QC Assistant Manager Job Duties: 
  • Sampling and testing of materials and finished products using current instrumental techniques. 
  • Creating and executing method development and method validation test protocols for finished products and generating the appropriate analytical methods. 
  • Ensuring that procedures are carried out timely, carefully and accurately to eliminate errors, involving qualitative and quantitative analyses. 
  • Supporting all QA and QC activities. 
  • Ensuring good relations and communications with all members of the team and responding politely and in a timely fashion to internal and external customers. 
  • Working with all members of staff to maintain and develop the positive progressive culture within The Specials Laboratory. 
  • Expertise in Blending of Lubricants , Base oil Fuel ,and Crude oil
  • Blending of products in the facility is an important aspect of this job role. 
  • Analyzing quality control and client samples. Interpretations on customers doubts and issue on the quality of the product. 
  • Liaise towards purchasing new products for the company. 
  • Play an integral part in independently handling Company ISO Audit and submit the report to the management as per. 
  • Assisting Management on quality of incoming products 
  • Responsible for third party inspection through different bodies like SGS, OHSAS etc
Qualification & Required Skills
  • Degree science in a scientific discipline (with strong chemistry content). 
  • 5-10 years relevant Analytical Chemistry experience, preferably in Quality Control, in an Oil & Gas industry 
  • Preferably with Petroleum Certification
  • Impressive, demonstrable track record and skills/experience gained within a similar position(s), at a similar level. 
  • Good IT skills e.g. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook). 
  • Credible and confident communicator (written and verbal) at all levels. 
  • Highly customer focused and passionate about delivering excellent customer service. 
  • Ability to achieve and maintain high standards with meticulous attention to detail. 
  • First class planning, organizational and time management skills. 
  • Ability to work accurately in a busy and demanding environment, adhering to strict deadlines/timescales. 
  • Strong analytical and problem solving ability. 
  • Self-starter who can hit the ground running. 
  • First class team player with a totally flexible approach. 
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work proactively using own initiative. 
  • Hands on approach with a can do attitude. 
  • Committed to learning and development.
