Job Description
 1. Contact with the suppliers nominated by Procurement officer for smooth production and/or sampling which involves:

a. Sourcing out products and prices as per client’s requirements

b. Negotiate with suppliers for better outcome

c. Maintain Database of Prices / costs for prompt actions

2. Closely monitoring samples / production plan

3.  Inform Sales Department time to time for production updates

4.  Coordinate with Logistic officer or handle the responsibility of shipment under supervision

5.  Make the deliveries on time to avoid penalties

6.  Inform the procurement / Sales Department if there is any issue.

Skills required


 Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in a business field such as economics, logistics, supply chain management

 Candidate has a sound knowledge of MS word / Excel and all PC suits

 Experience in shipping & logistics is an added advantage

 Good communication skills in English both in speaking and writing

 Ability to evaluate suppliers / products suitable for the market / clients and RFQ requirements

 Time management

 Ability work under pressure and meeting deadlines

 Previous work experience in procurement field is required. In addition, supply chain work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is desirable.
