Job Description
Salon Manager :

Salon Managers should display the following skills
- Excellent team leadership skills. You'll likely be heading up a team of creative, colorful, lively stylists and it will be your responsibility to motivate, mentor and set a good example!
- Level headed. Busy salons can be high pressure environments to work in and to manage effectively you need to be someone of level temperament that won't buckle under the pressure
- Skilled as a stylist with up to-date experience and knowledge of the hairdressing and Makeup industry. It's critical salon managers know well each job within the salon and to understand when someone is not doing their job well.
- Superb communication skills.
- A sincere belief and focus on giving excellent customer care.

Master Stylists :

- Master stylists to be the highest-ranking stylists in the salon.
- Help train and mentor junior stylists, helping them move up the ranks to senior stylists.
- Receive positive comments from existing and new customers, and log regular continuing-education credits.
- Experience of variety of cutting, styling and hair coloring.

Hairdresser :

- the creativity to design and interpret hairstyles
- excellent customer service and communication skills
- cutting and styling
- coloring, Highlighting, perming or straightening
- advising on minor hair and scalp problems
- keeping client records, making appointments and taking payments
- ordering materials and promoting sales to customers
- keeping up to date with new trends, techniques and products
- making sure that hair products containing chemicals are used and stored safe

Junior hairdresser:

- greeting customers
- shampooing and conditioning hair
- simple cutting, blow-drying
- making sure towels and supplies are ready for use
- keeping the salon clean and tidy

Makeup Artist:

- Creativity is the most important skill to become a makeup artist. You must deliver original results.
- Understanding bone structure, eye , and face shape is very important, as the makeup will vary from client to client according to their body structure and shape.
- You’ll need to apply cosmetics and color according to the clients’ skin tone. You must master this skill to bring out the natural beauty of the client.
- Styling hair is an essential skill and will give you advantage. You’ll need to apply wigs and colors to match the personality of the character. Facial hair management is another essential skill.
- Communication skills are also very important. You’ll need to communicate with clients, artists, directors, etc. to understand the makeup needs.
- Time management and pressure handling are two important skills, as you’ll need to stick with the schedule and redo the makeup if not satisfied.
- Having communication skills in multiple languages will be a plus point.
