Job Description

The Organization:
Our client is an investment company that works on agro-related regional and international projects and herewith playing a role in the food security plan of Abu Dhabi and UAE. They are hiring a Senior Management Accountant, preferably with experience in agriculture/trading/construction industry.

Duties & Responsibilities:
•Budget Preparation - Prepare and analyze the monthly budget/forecast to actual variance reports per program and department
•Financial Reports - Coordination of financial and management reporting for both internal and external stakeholders
•Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations and cash flow forecasting
•Preparation of Financial Modelling
•Handling the Cost Accounting
•Assist the Controller with the day-today, monthly and year-end operations of the Accounting/ Finance Department including grant management and budget review and analysis.

Skills & Competencies:
•Budgeting Skills & Reporting Skills;
•Team player and can collaborate with other teams in the organization;
•Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to clearly communicate issues to all levels of management;
•Monitor and collect data to assess accuracy and integrity; analyze data; ensure compliance with applicable standards (i.e. GAAP), rules, regulations and systems of internal control; interpret and evaluate results, prepare documentation; create financial reports and/or presentations

Education & Qualifications:
•At least minimum 8 - 10 years of experience within UAE in Management Accounting
•Graduate of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance;
•One of the following certifications: ACCA - Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, ACA - Additional Central Assistance, CMA - Certified Management Accountant, CPA - Certified Public Accountant, CA - Chartered Accountants, CIMA - Chartered Institute of Management Accountants
•Must be able to join immediately
