Our client is NASDAQ listed company which is active in automotive research & development and production of polymer composites. They are currently focused on researching, developing and producing high value-added specialized polymer composites and international expansion of their services and products. For their expansion plans in Europe, they are hiring a Manager Business Development in UK, France, Russia, Turkey and Czech.
Duties & Responsibilities:
•Drive, demonstrate and support exceptional client development solutions and delivery of advanced capabilities and client development solutions to potential clients in automobile manufacturing industry / New energy & Electric equipment manufacturing industry / Electronic manufacturing industry;
•Rapidly become conversant on the Polymer Materials’ offerings and collaborate with the leadership of Product Development Center managing and driving client development activities;
•Establish the sustainable relationships with customer base and market influencers to understand customer’s true needs, emotional, strategic and technical solution interests;
•Develop, implement and track the sales strategies (including pricing implementation) and provide clear strategic direction to the sales organization to target sales objectives aligned with over all Dubai Subsidiary business objectives- Meet or exceed annual sales quotas;
•Participate in industrial exhibitions and professional associations to strengthen the connections and communications with industry associations and marketplace, to enlarge brand awareness and social influence; Gather and report market intelligence i.e. industry/customer specific unmet needs, market trends, competitor intelligence;
•Acts as a contact point between clients and organization’s teams (Product Management, CRM, Growth Leaders, and Technology) to manage investment and offer practical solutions to respond to clients and market needs.
Skills & Competencies:
•Experience background in raw polymer materials, either within automotive, medical devices, home appliances or electronics;
•Experience with production distribution, including marketing, product promotion, customer development, business negotiations, technical support and after-sales service;
•Experience working on research & Development technology of polymer material;
•Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (TS16949, IRIS, CCS) and Social Accountability System Certification (SA8000, ISO14000);
•Having participated in Product Certification of related products;
•Experience working with Chinese companies is an advantage.
Education & Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Polymer Materials / Materials Science / Chemical Related / Marketing related; Master degree / AOICS Certificate is preferred.
•Multiple language speakers: Mandarin & English/German/Italian/French/Russian/Turkish, exceptional verbal and written communication skills; An additional Language is a plus.
•5 or more years’ experience as Sales Manager / Marketing Manager / Account Manager from the reputed enterprises like DuPont, BASF, Bayer, Dow Chemical, Royal DSM, LyondellBasell, PolyOne, Evonik Industries, Honeywell International, Exxon Mobil Corp., A. Schulman, SABIC, LG Chem., SK Chemicals, Mitsui Chemicals etc..
•OR 5 or more years’ experience as Raw Materials Buyer / Procurement Manager in the auto-part manufactures like MAHLE Group, Valeo, Mobis, Delphi, Continental AG, Faurecia, Johnson Controls, Lear Corporation Limited, BOSCH, Hella etc..
•OR 5 or more years’ experience as Quality Testing Manager of Non-metal Parts in OEM like Volkswagen AG, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Peugeot, Renault, Land Rover, Jaguar, Fiat, GM, SIEMENS AG, The Boeing Company , Airbus, Mikoyan, SKF / Blohm + Voss Industries GmbH, Sevmash, Alstom S.A. , CRRC, Kawasaki, Philips, etc..
•Fluency in the plastic industry and familiarity with the market landscape and corresponding information needs.
