Our client is a leading international specialist in construction, infrastructure and fit-out contracting. Our client brings together the collaboration and partnership of two successful groups to provide a comprehensive range of construction services to their clients in both Saudi Arabia & Bahrain. They are currently seeking a Setting Out Surveyor to be based in Bahrain.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Carry out a 'Two Peg' test on all the surveying equipment in use, prior to any work commencing on site, and at regular intervals thereafter while on a project site
Initially set out the 'works' correctly and check for any closing error before work proceeds
Set out and giving accurate lines, levels, co-ordinates etc. to APC staff and any sub-contractors require the same during the progress of the contract
Keep notes of all calculations used in establishing new co-ordinates or setting out lines, levels etc. and give same to the site admin for inclusion in the project records
Ensure that any and all projects being worked on have copies on file of the most up to date calibration certificates for the surveying equipment being used on that site
Ensure that the results of any and all 'Two Peg' tests carried out for surveying equipment being used on the projects is given to the site administration for inclusion in the project site records
Ensure that any lines, levels, co-ordinates etc. issued to sub-contractors are formally issued and accepted by them with the dates, times etc. recorded and signed for
Ensure that all surveying equipment is used in a professional manner, looked after and protected
Ensure that all specialised externally hired surveying equipment is used expeditiously and returned off hire when its useful hire period is up and ensure hire records are accurately loged on the HIire Plant Record Log

New Business Processing:-
Handling end to end New business processing starting from creation of Client id,Case start up, New business login, Follow up for policy issuance, Quality Check
Follow up with HUB for policy issuance of pending cases
