Job Responsibilities:
The Technical Committee Manager is responsible for providing leadership, project management, technical expertise, and analysis in support of initiatives to assist members and registered entities in promoting the committee's program infrastructures. The position holder will drive in supporting its technical elements by developing agenda items and implementing actions including Downstream strategies for specific tasks by partnering with SMEs, directing technical analysis and research to identify trends and opportunities, promotional activities and branding. You will provide excellent management and secretariat support in executing Technical Committees core functions by launching a wide range of services, including (a) technical conferences, strategic round-table seminars and best practice forums to internationally recognized niche publications, (b) issuing and authoring reports through the website, (c) be an information guardian against patent infringement and theft of intellectual property in collaboration with the legal advisor, (d) manage, control and update the e-Library and intellectual property.

Requirements & qualification:
  • Masters/Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Industrial), Business Management and/or equivalent.
  • Over 10 years of extensive experience preferably in oil and gas (refining, operations or technical management, and business) industry within GCC and internationally.
  • Highly business driven, persistent, combined with commercial acumen, power of analysis and the ability to understand and communicate with stakeholders - required to make a significant impact to the technical direction of.
  • Knowledgeable with regional and international organizations and associations enable to create strong alliances and close relationship establishment.
