Managing tax compliance, including the liaising with the finance function to follow a process of preparing, reviewing, filing and payment of VAT returns, ensuring timely and accurate compliance is achieved.
Ensuring that any indirect tax risks are well controlled and ensuring that adjustments are made for any perceived control failures.
Seeks opportunities to add value either through process efficiencies or creating value by identifying cash improvements.
Responding to a wide range of indirect tax queries by business stakeholders.
Manage operational day-to-day activities with VAT impact
Manage relations with third parties including FTA and Customs in co-operation and direction from the Company.
Manage internal VAT queries and/or being advisorfor internal Company stakeholders.
CTA, CTP, or equivalent certificates in finance or accounting related qualifications.
Minimum 3 years of VAT experience.
Knowledge of SAP & MS Office
Experience in tax functions in large EPC / corporates.
Technical knowledge about VAT in the UAE.

Maintenance of all files and registers.
New Business Processing:-
Handling end to end New business processing starting from creation of Client id,Case start up, New business login, Follow up for policy issuance, Quality Check
Follow up with HUB for policy issuance of pending cases
