• Supervising, training and hiring of employees to work in the warehouse either as laborers, equipment operators, clerks or inventory control personnel. • Scheduling employees, truck drivers, arranging drop offs and deliveries and scheduling loading dock use of mechanized equipment such as forklifts. • Ensuing that all appropriate safety regulations are being followed both with regards to personal safety and safety of inventory. • Checking and verifying shipping records, handling questions or concerns of shipping shortages or overages and addressing any problems with inventory control. • Supervising the operation (Delivery orders, Transports, Manpower and Maintenance of Vehicles). • Investigating and solving customers' problems, which may be complex or long-standing problems that have been passed on by customer service assistants; • keeping accurate records of discussions or correspondence with customers; • analyzing statistics or other data to determine the level of customer service for organization to providing; • Producing written information for customers, often involving use of computer packages/software and full Microsoft excel sheet, word, power point and others. • Developing customer service procedures, policies and standards for your organization or department; • meeting with other managers to discuss possible improvements to customer service; • Being involved in staff recruitment and appraisals; • Training our staff to deliver a high standard of customer service and excellence services. • Keeping ahead of developments in customer service by reading relevant journals, going to meetings and attending courses. • Communicating with other departments. • Overseeing stock control and processing order. • Ensuring quality, delivery budget and environmental objectives are met. • Fulfilling objectives and direction from the operation's headquarters. • Coordinating the use of automated and computerized system. • Responding to and dealing with customer communications by Email, Fax and telephone. • Planning future capacity requirement. • Producing regular report and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. • Briefing team leaders on a daily basis. • Visiting customers to monitor the quality of services they are receiving. • Maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment. • Overseeing the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment. • Set and continually manage the quality of our products and expectations with team members and other stakeholders. • Build, develop, and grow the business relationships vital to the success of the services.
