Job Description
Responsibilities:

• Design, implement and support the organization's voice, video and collaboration systems.

• Monitor Cisco Video Tele presence platform to ensure availability and performance.

• Daily support and maintenance of LAN / WAN, Voice and Video infrastructure as related to the Cisco Video Tele presence platform.

• Provide technical guidance and support to IT Communication Services staff

Requirements:

• 5+ Years of relevant experience and/or bachelor's degree in a related field

• CCNP-Voice or equivalent knowledge is preferred (CCIE-Collaboration highly desired)

• Specific knowledge of Cisco UCX, CUCM, Unity Connection, IM & Presence, Cisco Jabber and Expressway products

• Knowledge of Video Conferencing, TelePresence and WebEx Solutions

• Hands-on experience architecting, designing and implementing advanced Cisco Unified Communication and Collaboration solutions.

• Experience with network signaling protocols including SIP and H.323

• Familiarity of designing, building, maintaining and troubleshooting Cisco VCS-and, VCS-E and TMS

• Willingness to maintain your knowledge and expertise by learning new and evolving technologies and by achieving appropriate industry and professional certifications

• Hands-on experience with the design, setup, and support of a broad range of technologies from Cisco and competitors to include switches, routers, firewalls and call gateways.

• Adaptability to learn and support new technologies.

• Excellent network troubleshooting skills.

• May be responsible for performing basic and/or remedial hardware maintenance and software configurations on hardware/software endpoints/servers supporting Cisco Video application.

• Responsible for adding, moving, changing, and/or deleting users on the systems.

• Responsible for Quality Control Routines.

• Able to communicate effectively with team members of all levels to include executives, fellow engineers, service desk staff, and salespersons.

• Self-starter and skilled with managing time effectively while working multiple projects.

• Understanding of ITIL processes

• Responsible for additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Preferred:

• CCNP or CCIE: 1 year (Preferred)

• LAN / WAN, Voice & Video design: 5 years

• Unified Communications & Collaboration: 5 years
