POSITION: Banquet Executive

SALARY: up to 6,000 AED depending on experience and qualifications plus accommodation, transportation and duty meal

HIRING COMPANY: Catering Services

WORK LOCATION: Abu Dhabi

AVAILABILITY: Can join immediately will be prioritized

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Permanent

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

Open to Indian/Filipino/Arabic

Male/Female, 40 years old and below

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Diploma/ Degree in Hospitality Management, public relations or relevant field is preferred

Minimum 1 year of experience in hospitality preferably with background in catering/events

A proven track record of organizing successful events/catering

Proficient in MS Office; excellent vendor management skills

Outstanding communication and negotiation ability

Well-organized with multi-tasking skills

Able to handle stress and remain calm

Problem-solving ability

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Plan event with attention to financial and time constraints

Book venues and schedule speakers

Research vendors (catering, decorators, etc.) and choose the best combination of quality and cost

Negotiate with vendors to achieve the most favorable terms

Hire personnel and ,manage all event operations (preparing venue, invitations etc.)

Conduct final checks at the day of the event (e.g. tables, technology) to ensure everything meets standards

Oversee event happenings and act quickly to resolve problems

Evaluate event’s success and submit reports
