Job Description
GAC Group – IT is in need of a Business Analyst to join its Technology Business Management (TBM) team. The team’s mission is to move IT closer to the GAC group companies, building a trustworthy relationship between IT and the different business units and transforming IT into a tool for developing and executing the business. This will mainly be performed by running IT Councils with Business representatives.

The responsible Business Analyst within the GAC Group will make sure that all relevant decision-makers in the Group have the right processes and consistent, accurate and transparent information to enable fact-based decision-making, by bringing data together from various companies and making it easily accessible for daily operations and decision-makers through acquisition, organisation, analysis and consumption of information. The job includes both Project and BAU budgeting.

The overall goal of the role is to contribute to positive ROI in relations to IT solutions and enable the Business to develop in relations to the Business area targets.

  • Business Case Creation 
  • Build relationships within the organisation. 
  • Develop overall knowledge of Finance & different Operations of GAC 
  • Drive Process Automatization and efficiency enhancement. (Operation Process Mapping, Process Improvement) 
  • Understand the relation between Business needs and the capabilities of the IT Department to deliver. 
  • Help the TBM Team transform IT into a tool to develop and execute business. 
  • Focus on coaching the business to decide and prioritize (together with TBM) which efforts should be pursued in line with resource availability. 
  • Budget management for Projects and IT BAU 
  • Start, run and manage IT Council assessments 
  • TBM Business Analysis within the GAC Group 
  • Skillful problem solving together with the Business Units. 
  • Act as TBM SME of Business Processes specific to different Business areas. 
  • Develop and follow-up on metrics and reports 
  • Analyze the financial impact of proposed Process & IT solutions. 
  • Comply with the GAC Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environment (QHSSE) policies and procedures. 
  • Ensure compliance with the GAC Compliance Policy and GAC Code of Ethics. 
Operating Environment:

  • Travelling to different regions and offices of the GAC Group and its customers. 
  • Work under pressure in parallel, considering a high number of stakeholders (at different levels) in different GAC Companies.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
  • An undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management or a related field. 
  • Decision making and negotiation skills. 
  • Knowledge of a PM methodology (PMP, Prince2, etc.) 
  • Assumes responsibility for solving problems. 
  • MS Visio or similar Business Process Mapping application. 
  • Communicate effectively across all levels, engaging and inspiring at senior levels internally and externally. 
  • Cultural awareness within a multi-cultural Corporate environment 
  • Fluency in spoken and written English are essential. 
  • At least 3 years’ related working experience in similar position.
