Job Description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee the company business development functions to identify and develop new customers for products and services.

• Research and develop strategies and plans which identify business opportunities, direct marketing, and new project development.

• Visit potential customers to prospect for new business.

• Negotiate the terms of an agreement and closing sales.

• Gather market and customer information.

• Liaise with Human Resources and Operations Department for new customer’s requirements.

• Gain a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements;

• Make accurate, rapid cost calculations, and providing customers with quotations;

• Participate in the development of new project proposals. Coordinate with concerned managers in preparation and delivery of business tenders, proposals and quotations as well as the required business presentations.

• Coordinate with management in negotiating and closing of the business deals with clients and signing off the contracts.

• Represent the company at various community and/or business meetings to promote the company.

• Represent the company in the technical presentations of new tenders as and when required by clients.

• Negotiate contract terms, pricing and payment schedule, ensuring that the agreements with the clients are commercially advantageous

• Build and maintain excellent relationships with existing clients

• Keep up to date with market trends and new developments utilizing information for business improvement

• Set targets as to the result to be achieved with price/terms negotiations.

• Receive new business initiation from Sales and Marketing Manager and prepare accurate proposal to customers with rapid cost calculations.

• Prepare and review the quotations/proposals before submitting to the clients, and negotiate and finalize proposals in consultation with the appropriate level and in coordination with Sales and Marketing Manager.

• Manages and resolves business conflicts between the company and the clients. Review of customer proposed terms and conditions

• Liaising directly with the clients on behalf of the company for any new business requests coming directly to the office in coordination with Sales and marketing Manager.

• Monitoring changes or developments within the industry

• Preparation of Contracts (formal, short term, and annual contracts)—Drafting, Evaluation, Negotiation and Execution:

• Maintain contractual records and documentation.

• Identify and analyze economic developments in the market

• Control of all contract correspondence, customer contact information sheets, contractual changes.

• Develop and implement procedures for contract management and administration in compliance with company policy.

• As appropriate, contribute to or influence company policies.

• Contribute to collect the payments from the clients in a timely manner.

• Ensure company products and services are offered with appropriate, competitive terms and conditions

• Monitor customer satisfaction and recommend changes.

• Monitor the Tender/Performance bond expiry and timely collection of the same.

• Careful planning to achieve accurate and timely results.

• Ensure that signed contracts are communicated to all relevant parties through work orders to provide contract visibility and awareness. Liaise with Operations and Finance departments to insure accurate billing.

• Track the contract expiry, extension or renewal.

• Provide weekly and monthly contracts reports to CEO, and any other reports as and when directed.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Experience in strategic planning and execution. Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management. Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations. Experience in planning marketing strategies, advertising campaigns, and successful public relations efforts.

• Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects. Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.

• Knowledge of the private security industry, preferably gained through experience in UAE or GCC countries

• Ability to overview situations, defining set plans to achieve business goals.

• This is normally acquired through a combination of the completion of a University/Masters Degree in Marketing and six plus years of experience in a senior-level business development and contracts position.

• Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• University Degree in applicable field with 10 years work experience.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work may require weekend and/or evening work as required by the business.
