Business Development Manager - Iraq
In my job I am accountable for:
-Participating in building market strategies in line with corporate business plans to meet KDD business objectives. Working closely with distribution entities through close communication; offering services to ease sales achievement (timely deliveries, market visits etc.);
-Implementation of Go-to-market programs for effective market penetration and product availability; planning and formulation of KDD annual calendar marketing and sales strategy
-Participating in the preparation of annual budgeting of expense, payroll and capex; with all necessary justifications. Timely communication of programs and initiatives to team for achieving business results Working within expense budgets frames; measuring productivity of assets and optimize for best results, maintaining accounts receivables and collection turnover while taking appropriate corrective action when necessary. "
Ensuring all claims have necessary supporting documents from the distributors
Developing and maintaining balanced relationships with Company's internal and external customers while representing KDD at best Business and ethical image
Providing leadership, direction for all personnel and enriching relationship of communication within departments.
Training and developing department staff about sales strategy, business processes and analytics; Assisting management in evaluating staffs performance on yearly basis with at least one review per year before the year end Performance Appraisal is due.
Procuring and analyzing relevant retailers and competitors' information; participating in determining channel and product strategies for each market.
Implementation of the Marketing & Promotion Activities with and through the Sales Teams.
Seeking and reporting any activity or detected strategy or even pricing policy or activities by the competition by submitting relevant and documented information.
Analyzing daily/monthly sales targets vs. sales forecast and defined KPI's
Overseeing the Performance of subordinates in accordance with company standard & policies & in conjunction with corporate policies & recruit as necessary as possible to maintain an effective operations. Assisting in all local correspondence with business partners and following up on pending business and financial subjects.
Reviewing & presenting volume, expenditure & actual/forecast Vs plan to Top Management
Identifying business opportunities & implement agreed business development plans to overcome shortfalls and ensure continuous business growth
Preparing annual business plans for top management revision and approval.
Updating all MIS applications on daily basis with necessary reporting of any technical glitches to KDD Head office .
Executes Management directives when required by top Management.
My qualifications are:
Age (years) 40-50 Years
Languages : English & Arabic
Education: Bachelor degree in Business Administration or similar, MBA is a plus
Job Description :

Complaints Management- addressing customer complaints at the branch, system updation, coordination with Sales/HUB/ other functions for resolution.
Refunds processing and dispatch
Undelivered policy documents tracking and management.
Maintenance of all files and registers.
New Business Processing:-
Handling end to end New business processing starting from creation of Client id,Case start up, New business login, Follow up for policy issuance, Quality Check
Follow up with HUB for policy issuance of pending cases
