Job Description
POSITION: Chef De Cuisine

SALARY: up to 11,000 QAR depending on experience and qualifications plus accommodation and transportation benefits

HIRING COMPANY: Leading 5* Hotel

LOCATION: Doha, Qatar

AVAILABILITY: Can join immediately will be prioritized

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

Open to European (Western or Eastern) nationality

Male/Female, 25-38 years old and below

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

2-years degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major and high school diploma or GED

Minimum 2-4 years of experience as Sous Chef in a 5-star hotel property

Open to home country experience

Strong grill or steakhouse experience is a must

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Exhibits culinary talents by personally performing tasks while leading the staff and managing all food related functions

Coordinates menu development, purchasing, staffing and food preparation for the hotel

Works with team to improve guest and employee satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget

Must ensure sanitation and food standards are achieved

Develops and trains team to improve results

Ensuring culinary standards and responsibilities are met

Managing and conducting human resource activities

Provides information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person

Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems

Attends and participates in all pertinent meetings
