Job Description
• Develop Procurement and Subcontracting Strategy for the company and each project, as per the directives of the CEO

• Streamline the Procurement and Subcontracting Process to improve efficiency and control

• Identify the KPIs for various functions and communicate the same to the team

• Prepare Initial Budget for Projects on the basis of Concept Design

• Prepare High Level Cash Flow for Projects

• Coordinate the Fund Monitoring requirements with Client and Fund Monitoring Consultant appointed by the Bank / Client

• Negotiate the Prices of various Packages / items with the Bidders and agree the Terms and conditions for the contract

• Drive down costs, look at alternate solutions and value engineering.

• Manage and allocate the available fund for various projects, in coordination with Area Managers, CFO and CEO

• Monitor the performance of the team and take required corrective measures, as and when necessary

• Review the Status of Projects, to ensure timely completion of projects and cost effectiveness.

• Oversee the internal processes of Commercial Department and take measures to improve efficiency and close

• Risk management and Mitigation

• Improve Quality of service and ensure customer satisfaction
Additional Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering

• Diploma in Contracts Management and Administration

• Diploma in Estimating and Costing

• 20 Years’ experience in Building Construction and Civil Engineering, in various functions including Project Management, Estimation , Cost Control, Procurement and Contract Administration of a Large Construction Co. and at least 7years in Senior Management Level.

• Should have demonstrated excellent management skills and good track record (integrity and loyalty)

• Should be familiar with the local market, existing vendors and the challenges ahead

• Exemplary Project Management, Negotiation and market research skills

• Should be well versed in latest corporate management standards and proficient in using modern software tools.

• Should have a history of long term commitment with Employers.

• Should possess strong interpersonal and negotiation skills

• Good Analytic and problem solving skills

• Solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial / budgeting processes

• Commercial Awareness and strategic mindset

• Excellent Organizational and leadership skills

• Ability to motivate and lead a large team

• Should be well versed in FIDIC Conditions of Contracts and various FIDIC books such as Red Book and Yellow Book
