To lead and plan the design of a project, and in coordination with the Chief Architect and Project Architect, developing initial ideas with the Client, defining the parameters and the scope of work, defining the services to be rendered, and collaborating to determine program, architectural preferences, and function.
To nominate Project Architect depending on the project type and scope of work, Lead, manage, and inspire the design team, including the Architects, Landscape Designer, and Interior Designers, providing the main architectural design direction.
To ensure establishing priorities, planning and coordinating design work, and monitoring implementation of targeted design phases.
To ensure that the design is adhered to or even enhanced by the engineering team, working with the Structural Engineer, Plumbing Engineer, HVAC Engineer, and Electrical Engineer, and consult with the engineering team at the conceptual stage if ambitious engineering designs are sought after to allow for feasible architectural design development.
To present design to client for approval.
To verify the team's design documents and specifications before they are issued to the Technical Coordinator. Review and check shop drawings in coordination with the Technical Coordinator for accuracy before issuing to Chief Architect for the final check print and signature.
To oversee the production of the design team from a graphic design point of view.
