Responsible for managing the FMCG channel distribution operations and sales functions on a country level, having 10 years in FMCG sales experience & having a senior distribution role practiced for 2 years minimum.
In my job I am accountable for:
-Optimising day to day operation of KDD sales and distribution activities all around the country, valuating freight cost of shipments, devising routes for shipments, and monitoring progress of major shipments to ensure receipt.
-Work with the distribution in scheduling of both drivers and vehicles to deliver sales and distribution targets. -Collaborating with sales team to ensure that new products reach the right markets at the optimal time Build business relationships with Channel Partners and identify new markets for effective market penetration; Setting up and executing channel distribution strategies in line with KDD corporate business plans and initiatives.
-Create a system for taking orders over the phone, Internet, or through email; Putting together catalogues advertising products, visiting major retailers to demonstrate products and negotiate contracts.
-Implementing and Optimizing strategies for a better distribution network.
-Monitoring both sales force and distributors performances in line with corporate business plans
-Conducting market research to learn about the demand for different goods, convincing retailers to carry KDD products, determining what goods sell best to commercial businesses and consumers
-Communicating on daily basis performance plans, progress reports related to Distribution and sales with daily reflection on ERP applications
-Overseeing warehouse operations ,deciding appropriate quantities of items to stock, Ensuring inventory maintains optimal levels, optimizing space utilization in warehouse and on the ramp with latest resource available (Racking and Bar coding), Appropriate storing of the items according to KDD standard policies and guidelines
Supervising records of all KDD assets leased to the distributor
-Updating MIS systems to manage stock levels, delivery times and transport costs; Utilizing associated information systems to coordinate and control the order cycle; Collecting of data from MIS systems to evaluate performance and quality and to plan improvements;
Executing management directives as required by direct management. My qualifications are:
Age (years) 35 years and up
Languages : Arabic (Preferred English Bilingual)
Education Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain , Marketing or similar ( MBA Preferred)
10 years in FMCG sales experience having a senior distribution role practiced for 2 years minimum
