Plan, coordinate and supervise the mechanical maintenance activities for the plant to ensure the availability and reliability of rotary and static equipment
Maintenance Planning, Execution and expertise
Provide support for decision making to the operations team and maintenance team for equipment testing, troubleshooting, routine equipment surveillance and start-up activities.
Develop long range plans for machinery overhaul through performance evaluations on the equipment and based on running hours to maintain high reliability & availability of the plant.
Participate in the preparation of predictive, preventive, modification and major shutdown maintenance programmes for mechanical equipment in the plant.
Ensure that all the plant rotating and static equipment are maintained, improved and/or replaced for optimum plant availability, reliability and sustainability to meet the plant Integrity requirements.
Plan and coordinate mechanical maintenance activities with other departments and sections to ensure availability of resources and supporting teams.
Maintain required material, spares, consumables and tools in high quality and quantities to ensure continuous availability.
Conduct and implement root cause analysis of equipment failures and non-scheduled shutdowns and recommend problem resolutions to increase the reliability and availability of equipment in respective department/section.
Participate in Risk Assessment exercises and prepare recommendations and guidelines to address the findings.
Carry out troubleshooting of chronic failures and give repair and test procedures to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
Coordinate with Planning Section and periodically review the resources concerning manpower required to meet with daily maintenance activities, major overhauls, shutdowns and new projects support.
Minimum Criteria :
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent professional qualification.

6 years of experience or more in engineering and maintenance of Rotating/Static equipment with full knowledge of HSE in a plant environment within a large industrial organization, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
