A Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Social Work, Psychology (or Psy. D.), Professional Counselling, Marriage and Family Therapy or similar.
Licensed as a family therapist, multi-systemic therapist or similar in home country.
Up-to date CPD in relevant areas.
Postgraduate Qualification in a relevant subject area.
Minimum 5 years clinical experience.
Multidisciplinary experience in a range of clinical fields to include adult and family mental health, child and adolescent mental health, family trauma and recovery, behavioural couples therapy.
Previous experience in specialist area of mental health.
Family systems theory and application.
Social ecological theory and application.
Behavioural therapies theory and application.
Cognitive-behavioural therapy theory and application.
Pragmatic family therapies theory and application.
Child development research and its application in treatment.
Advanced inpatient and outpatient clinical skills.
Advanced multi-systemic intervention skills across the spectrum.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Up-to-date research skills.
Provide monthly activity report to direct supervisor.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well as part of a team.
