A minimum of 15 years of professional experience as operation engineer or process engineer of refinery or petrochemical monomer plants Senior Process Engineer for High Olefin FCC, Alkylation, and Ethylene Cracker. In-depth knowledge of all above units.
Lead and operate process engineers team to achieve teams roles and responsibility listed hereafter.
Support Operations team in monitoring/evaluating performance of plant and equipment and providing with solution to operate the plant with high efficiency, stability, safety, and reliability.
Supervise engineers work in plant design, operations, troubleshooting, control and optimization of chemical & physical advanced material process through systematic methods.
Coordinate with other engineering experts to provide comprehensive engineering solutions.
Review standard operation procedures (SOP) for newly implemented or modified process/equipment.
Lead or participate incidents/trouble investigation
Develop and review technical/process specification for equipment, instruments, and catalysts/chemicals, according to related company and industrial standards
Develop monthly performance report, including production, energy efficiency, material balance, catalyst/adsorbents performance, chemical consumption, and variance analysis.
Develop/mentor young or less experienced engineers, or fresh graduate interns.
Excellent English communication skills (verbal and writing), skills for conducting technical studies.
Strong competencies for senior level, such as leadership, strategic thinking, initiatives, those are required to lead engineers and to develop, propose, promote, and execute activities related to his respective plants.
Strong skills for incident and failure analysis, Root Cause Analysis,
Strong skill for data analysis and working knowledge to work with historical database, such as PI for analyzing the operation datato make proper inferences.
Strong working knowledge of process simulation software, like PRO/II, ASPEN-HYSIS and ASPEN Plus.
Fair knowledge for industrial standards such as API, ASME, TEMA, ISA, NFPA, preferably familiar to Saudi Aramco Engineering Standard.
Fair knowledge and expertise for corrosion control.
Fair knowledge & skills of advanced process control, and optimization (LP/QP).
Fair knowledge for principles of mechanical, instrumental, DCS/SIS and electrical equipment.
Fair knowledge for principles of rotating machinery
