Job Description
OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Liaising with Hotel Financial Controllers on operational and financial issues.

2. Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures for each jurisdiction where the company is operating.

3. Ensure that a strong system of internal controls, compliance and related procedures are actively executed within the business.

4. Conduct Property Level internal audits.

5. Assisting Hotels Pre-opening functions.

6. Training of Financial Controllers on matters arising from reviews / audits.

7. Supervise Cluster Purchasing Manager and Corporate Financial Controller.

8. Prepare for and participate in monthly Financial Reviews of Faisal Holding properties.

9. Review and monitor compliance with Hotel Management Agreements’ terms and conditions including trigger clauses.

10. Ensures all budgets and audits are submitted to the owners as stipulated in the HMAs.

11. Develop and maintain working relationships with all owners through regular contact.

12. Any other duties reasonably concerned with the position and business necessity.

13. Review the Hotel’s Monthly Profit & Loss and Balance sheet with VP- Finance & VP- Operations.

14. Review all Property related CAPEX submissions are aligned with budget.

15. Prepare short and long-term financial forecasts of financial performance for use with internal management and external parties.

16. Lead, support and supervise Hotel annual budgeting process.

17. Advise hotels and the company on opportunities of where to maximise revenue as appropriate.

18. Monitor risk management policies and procedures to ensure that organisational risks are minimized.

19. Oversee the management of all contracts and other financial commitments.

20. Prepare financial forecasts for new hotel projects under consideration.

CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Oversee the bookkeeping function including maintenance of the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll.

2. Manage the production of the company annual budget.

3. Manage the cash flow and prepare cash flow forecast in accordance with policy.

4. Review the company Monthly Profit & Loss and Balance sheet with VP-Finance and the CEO

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Management of KSA Office administration and associated legal affairs.

2. Responsible for all the company’s Legal affairs.

3. Oversee audit and tax functions, coordinate activities with outside audit firms.

4. Review audit issues and make corrections as necessary.

5. Conduct annual external audit for all the company managed hotels.

6. Ensure all the company trademarks and licenses are up to date.
