Job Description

We, for our client based in Dubai, UAE, a leader in Rental Access & Heavy Equipment, are hiring a FleetController for their branch in Qatar.

This role will be responsible for supporting the Finance Manager for fleet and account related activities.
  • Responsible for maintaining fleet records and periodical reconciliation of machines in coordination with HQ.
  • Clearing the shipment from the port through the clearing agent, including documentation/payment of duty and clearing charges.
  • Liaise with HQ for all fleet related matters.
  • Responsible for fleet movement of all branch operational countries.
  • Generation of monthly KPI files, verification of each fleet revenue discusses the same with the commercial and rental team for any variances
  • Quarterly fleet reconciliation.
  • Preparing sales register
  • Analysis of monthly parts consumption in each category and discuss the same with relevant personnel in case of major variances.
  • Accounts Payable & Admin:
  • Recording of intercompany Invoices including bare rental, machine purchase, insurance etc.
  • Responsibility for petty cash sign off.
  • Preparing other Accounts month-end closing tasks HR letters & day to day requirements including Admin
  • Provide support if needed on ad-hoc finance matters
  • Verification of all purchase invoices and reconciling in to purchase receipt in the syrinx
  • Supplier reconciliations and payment preparations ( Local / Import )
  • Handling suppliers queries and update the informations
  • Analysis of car rental/telephone bills ( including booking the bills and preparing payment )

  • A university or equivalent education in business/finance and recognized certifications or accreditations as an accounting/finance professional
  • At least 7 years of commercial and business experience with at least 3- 4 years as a Finance or accounting specialist or closely related role is required
  • MNC / Corporate experience
  • Experience with fleet management/asset control
  • Lead role experience with year-end audit process and requirements
  • Strong leadership and teamwork/teambuilding skills are required
  • Strong analysis and decision-making skills are required
  • Ability to motivate teams in a multicultural environment.
  • Strong English and local language communication skills. Additional languages advantageous.
  • Quick learner, eager to learn and develop.
  • Willing to travel
