Candidates holding SHRM / Post Graduate Degree in HRM / Personnel Management / equivalent qualification from Institutions like XLRI / Madras School of Social Work having minimum 7-10 years relevant experience in schools in UAE only need to apply. The candidate shall have following relevant experience in UAE schools and shall be capable of :
-Manage and support the day to day Human Resources operations of the school including Human Resources Policies, procedures, human resources functions, recruitment, staffing, training and development, employee counseling, handling visa and immigration works, Ministry of Labour, Ministry of Education / Sharjah Education Council matters, faculty and staff qualification certificate equivalency and approvals, preparation and updation of Faculty and Student Handbook etc.
-Advise management and staff on UAE Labour law regulations and compliance.
Prepare employment contracts and maintains all personnel files of employees in coordination with the PRO and Ministry of Labour/Education requirements.
-Provide advice, assistance, and follow-up on school policies, procedures and documentations.
-Liaise with the travel department to book travel for new employees and maintain regular communication with new hires, including sending 'Welcome Emails', updation of staff Handbook, answering questions related to HR, conduct new hire inductions.
-Process new hire forms including bank account forms, medical insurance, etc
-Design and conduct new employee orientations to explain school policies, compensation and benefits programs.
-Coordinate employee files including ensuring files are organised and contain all relevant information.
-Produce NOCs, salary certificates and salary transfer letters in English and Arabic as required on a timely basis.
-Coordinate the resolution of specific policy-related and procedural problems and inquiries.
-Develop and maintain HRIS database, employee files and records.
-Support ERP project team with input on HR systems, policies and requirements
-Perform and conduct specific surveys / research/investigation into operational issues as requested and directed by Principal
-Assist and prepare statistical summaries and reports for school.
-Attend staff meetings and serve on committees as required.
-Coordinate and supervise Administration works also.
-Should coordinate closely with the Government Relations Officer on a daily basis and shall coordinate and supervise PRO related works closely.
Ideal candidates should be prepared to work under pressure and shall be highly proactive and positive minded person capable of leading the Human Resources dept of the school towards achieving the Mission and Vision of the School.
Should have thorough knowledge of the Unified Frame Work of the UAE and should have experienced / handled Statutory Inspections conducted by Regulatory Authorities such as MOE, KHDA, ADEC. Candidates shall have excellent IT skills.

Selected candidate shall be able to join the school as early as possible, subject to the school obtaining necessary Government approvals as per schedule.
