Job Description
Landscape Engineer

Reports to:

Landscape Manager.

Job description:

Assist in the approval of technical submittals.
Assist for Inspection Requests right from Site Clearance, Excavation & Disposal. Irrigation Mains & Sub mains lying. Installation of Solenoid Valves & Controllers. Set out of Palms, Trees, Shrubs, Ground Covers, and Seasonal & Lawns.
Evaluation, checking & approval of  Inspection Requests
Proper execution of Landscape & Irrigation Works
Daily site visit for all issues related to the common area.
Regular Site visit according to the schedule, Reporting any site discrepancies
Follow up of Planned and Preventive Landscape Maintenance.
Assist in the development of quantity take-offs and cost estimates. 
Assist in the preparation of sketches, preliminary drawings, and schematic designs.
Revise landscape plans and drawings as directed by the supervisor to ensure compliance with regulations and requirements; check calculations used in designs and cost estimates. 
Assist in site analyses, master planning, designing, cost estimating, and research activities for landscape architectural advanced planning projects. 
Prepare a variety of charts, graphs, maps, plans, and other illustrative materials for the presentation. 
Assist a higher level landscape architect in public presentations of landscape architectural projects. 
Maintain a variety of reports, plans, and files relating to landscape architectural design and construction. 
Perform related duties as assigned.
Desired Skills and Experience

Graduation in Horticultural Science or Agricultural Engineering or Equivalent
3 to 5 years’ experience in landscaping, Irrigation Projects & Maintenance
MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Internet (research), AutoCAD
Project Management
An interest in conservation and the environment
Organizational skills and a practical approach to work
Be physically fit for outdoor work
Have good spoken and written communication skills
Be capable of working alone and in a team
Holding a valid UAE driving license

Head of Facilities, Landscape Manager, Projects Manager, Architect, PPM Sales team

External Relations

Contractors, Suppliers, etc.
