Perform and support contractual reviews from a variety of sources such as the entities HR department, suppliers, customers across the group.
Solve and follow up on issues with regard to legal files to ensure that the best possible service can be offered to your stakeholders.
Ensure KYC for all entities across the group are up to date and properly maintained.
Maintain records for all legal and tax matters.
You may be required to conduct small training's on legal matters
Determine the Companies Tax position & oversee the global tax planning, monitor on a monthly basis.
Strategize tax efficient structuring.
Knowledge of Double Taxation Avoidance Agreements, Transfer pricing & withholding tax matters (some experience in managing these matters on an International basis required).
Develop and present tax planning strategies for the Holding and subsidiary jurisdictions.
Provide technical and other support during mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning and other projects as needed.
Engage expert legal/tax advisors in consultation with Group CFO as may be required.
Adopt a customer oriented attitude by guiding stakeholders and offering them the most appropriate solution and excellent service.
Support others by acting as an example within your job and supporting them as a mentor (showing best practices on how to approach legal/tax matters and offer help where necessary and help them cope with difficulties).
Stay informed about professional knowledge and technical skills in the area of Legal & Tax in order to maximize your professional knowledge and to apply it within the organization in the best possible manner.
Qualifications: LLB or Tax qualifications or both. Accounting background helpful. Good in English.
Experience: 3-5 years in an International business

New Business Processing:-
Handling end to end New business processing starting from creation of Client id,Case start up, New business login, Follow up for policy issuance, Quality Check
Follow up with HUB for policy issuance of pending cases
