SUMMARY OF THE JOB Manage the entire scope of operations (Production and Maintenance) in the most effective manner to ensure company meets its operational targets MAIN ACTIVITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES This role requires: Health & Safety o Set personal examples with regards to group Health & Safety policy and standard implementation. o Create Health & Safety awareness by promoting safety meetings and talks, and by encouraging Health & Safety initiatives. o Required to submit Near miss & VFL reports as per yearly objectives. o Zero personal involvement in accidents. o Communication of Health & Safety policies and issues to all subordinates. Environmental Management o Awareness and adherence to statutory regulations and decrees. o Respects and follows procedures in place o Indicates a non-compliance or environmental incident to his N+1 Operations(Including Workshop & Stores) o Run the fabrication workshop to meet the company’s needs in a smooth and cost effective manner o Continuously manage initiatives to achieve maximum operational performance and reduce down time of equipment and trucks o Take charge of concrete plant erection and removals as well as major refurbishment in the plants o Ensure that all electrical works in the plant are properly performed and completed in the safest manner o Manage a number of random activities such as fitting access platforms o Manage the project teams and the plant erection team o Submit monthly reports on H&S, fleet cost, maintenance KPIs, Stores, Camps (if applicable), Manpower and Workshop o Responsible for in-house efforts to build new office space as well as civil works and any internal modifications in structure o Manage vehicle workshops including service, maintenance, and overhauling o Monitor operational performance KPIs and take necessary actions to address deviations o Submit periodic production, safety and stock level reports to the General Manager o Occasionally represent the company in meetings with Oman Officials to get approvals and necessary documentation for setting up new plants o Work closely with the Workshop Manager to ensure full completion of all types of maintenance tasks in the workshop o Manage all operational KPIs including planned and unplanned downtime o Ensure availability of needed equipment in the workshop and that tools are constantly upgraded o Jointly manage the plant calibration process with the Technical Manager o Assume full responsibility for store management with special focus on maintaining minimum stock levels o Evaluate and qualify suppliers from technical perspective o Set the required specifications for the store layout and tools o Approve the manpower and store budget o Continuously review the store performance and stock levels o Analyze trend reports related to issuance of items, expenditure and stock levels o Participate in conducting periodic audits in the store People Management o Manage day to day topics for his team including Leave, Appraisals, Coaching o Internal Controls: -Support General Manager with the Internal Control topics suggest improvements and test (when required) the processes and controls within his own preview. - Follow the Code of Business Conduct process as prescribed by the Company PROFILE REQUIRED ? Level of education/qualifications normally required: ? Bachelor or Masters in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) with knowledge of local market as a plus. ? Minimum of 6-10 years of operations/production-related management experience in the construction materials, or a related industry ? Technical / functional skills: ? Strong understanding of financials and performance metrics ? Strong knowledge of and understanding related to company products, processes and equipment ? Behavioral competencies / Leadership and managerial abilities: ? Excellent people skills and strong potential for leadership development ? Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously, and deal effectively with people using a facilitative approach ? Excellent communication/leadership skills ? Relationship Building ? ? Language skills: ? Communication in English a must. Arabic, Hindi and any other local languages widely spoken will be an added advantage. ? Mobility requirements (time spent travelling internationally, nationally etc.): ? Frequent local travel to plants up to 20-30 %

Follow up with HUB for policy issuance of pending cases
