We are currently looking for skilled and enthusiastic candidates to fulfil the following three (x3) positions based in Riyadh Saudi Arabia.
The Operations Planning and Performance Specialist role is an exciting career opportunity for those of you who would like to further develop their operations planning, data analytics and control skills. In this role you will assist the Operations Planning and Performance Manager with the development, implementation and continuous improvement of:
- Operations & Maintenance (O&M) contractors forward planning of capacity requirements to operate an urban metro incl. timetables and rosters
- The performance, reporting and control measures needed to maintain and enhance Operations & Maintenance contractors capability to deliver their obligations.

You will develop fit-for-purpose KPIs to measure O&M Contractors performance, specifying:
- Objectives of the KPIs
- Evolution of the KPIs
- Responsibilities for the KPIs
- Calculation Formula for the KPIs
- Systems providing the input data for the KPIs
- Frequency of the Calculation for the KPIs

o Ensure that each O&M Contractor meets their contractual requirements in terms of operational performance
o Operations planning of a driverless metro
o Forward planning of capacity requirements
o Support the evaluation and adjustment of the performance regime where required
o Timetable and roster analysis/approvals
o KPI analysis for measuring performances of the O&M contractors
o Evaluation of KPIs and adjust O&M contractors performance where and when required
o monitoring, auditing and reporting of the KPI regime to the agreed schedule and in adherence to quality management systems
o Tracking and analysis of deviations to the targeted performances
o Propose and implement successfully corrective measures to improve performance
o Tracking and analysis of deviations to targeted performance
o An undergraduate or higher qualification in a transport related discipline
o 5 plus years of related experience
o Experience of KPIs in the areas of: Metro Operations, Rail Safety, HSEQ in a Metro/Rail environment, Environmental Management, Human Resources management, and Maintenance
o Demonstrable experience of using industry software tools (e.g. Railsys) to model rail performance in support of either train service development or the development of enhancement schemes.
o A Proven capability to undertake detailed statistical performance analysis on train service and/or asset performance reaching effective conclusions.
o Experience in developing timetables as a practitioner or the ability to demonstrate a deep understanding of timetable development processes
o Experience of working within a Metro/Train Operator or Infrastructure provider and/or be able to demonstrate an effective understanding of Middle East operations (including an understanding of industry standard performance measures and metrics)
o An ability to take ownership for key elements of larger work streams and assist project delivery
o Client-focused, with a clear understanding of how to produce technical outputs for a range of audiences
o Demonstrable data analytics and reporting experience
