Establishes with the Client a strategy for short and long-term goals to achieve program objectives.
Plans, organizes, staffs, directs and evaluates program activities to meet goals.
Recommends program policies to the Client and administers approved policies.
Create and maintain best practices to manage Client projects during planning, design and construction.
Coordinates with different departments in the Client organization (where applicable) to ensure realization of program objectives.
Direct responsibility for the assignment of qualified staff to positions in a timely fashion, and ensure that all members of the team are aware of, and have a common understanding of their authority, responsibilities, and their relationship with each other and the project.
Oversee and review the management and operation of PMO in the implementation of project management procedures tracking, logging, expediting, and monitoring systems, and the preparation and distribution of associated status and monthly reports. This would include the schedule, cost and financial control systems.
Remain informed about the project status and initiate appropriate corrective measures in case there are any shortfalls.
