We are looking for a Project Finance Manager to join the Saudi Arabia team. Reporting to the Finance Director, the Project Finance Manager, will also have a dotted line to the Project Manager/Director. The role is responsible for accurate and quality project financial reporting and accounting. The role is an integral part of project leadership and the incumbent is required to participate in active and positive collaboration with members of the project management team. To perform this role successfully the Project Finance Manager, will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
Responsibilities
  • Ensure that cost commitments and expenditures on the project are accurately recorded so as to provide timely and accurate cost accounting.
  • Support the project progress application and invoicing process including cash collection.
  • Work with Project Controls and Project Manager to ensure appropriate review of project cost, revenue and cash forecasting.
  • Ensure application of internal controls, finance procedures, IFRS standards and Levels of Authority.
  • Monitor financial performance and provide variance analysis of Budget/Forecast vs. Actuals.
  • Support working capital and cash management to ensure the projects cash position is optimized.
  • Manage relationships with relevant external parties where relevant (Vendors, Auditors)
  • Submit required reporting packs on a monthly/quarterly basis as well as ad-hoc analysis and reports
  • Review project accounting and ensure all key accounting and reporting activities are managed and completed on a timely basis.

Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years experience in accounting preferably in a project environment
  • Experience in the construction industry will be considered an asset
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance / Accounting
  • Ability to build relationships with the team members, project leadership and various stakeholders
  • Strong presentation skills, great organizational skills and excellent problem-solving skills
