A Master’s Degree, Psy. D. or Ph. D. in Clinical/Counselling Psychology.
Licensed as a clinical psychologist/counselling psychologist/psychotherapist in home country.
Up-to date CPD in relevant clinical/counselling psychology areas.
Postgraduate qualification in relevant areas
At least 5 years’ experience in a clinical, community or clinical-academic setting exposing the person to client groups and service settings directly relevant to clinical/counselling psychology.
Multidisciplinary experience across the fields of mental and physical health.
Previous experience in the specialist area of eating disorders and/or the treatment of obesity.
Other specialist experience e.g. commissioning, accreditation, practice guideline development, teaching.
Knowledge of substance-related and addictive disorders and co-morbid condition, diagnosis and treatment.
Service improvement experience and knowledge of service improvement methodologies.
Up-to-date knowledge of research and development.
Advanced residential Guest-client and ambulatory care Guest-client clinical skills.
Advanced skills in counselling individual or groups in a therapeutic setting.
Advanced skills in anxiety and stress management techniques.
Advanced skills in one or more psychotherapeutic modalities.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Provide monthly activity report to direct supervisor.
