QC Inspector (Electrical)

JOB PURPOSE

-To perform inspection and quality activities on electrical, testing and commissioning works of the assigned projects.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Quality Control

Major Activities

Lead a team of electricians to conduct testing on cable insulation, grounding system, Inspection of Electrical

Installation works, Electrical switchboard testing, motor starters (eg DOL, Start Delta, Soft starter, VSD etc)

transformers, generators, test report preparation, test pack preparation and high voltage switchgear as well as electrical installation works.

-Ensure the deliverables of projects meet clients quality and safety requirements.

-Evaluate quality and safety non-conformance report and provide appropriate corrective measures.

Interpret the Technical and Construction drawings.

-To ensure material quality requires adjustments, maintained and support documentation and recorded.

-Plan, implement and make corrective actions to delivery projects on time

-Day to day operational matters

-Review of all projects schedule and it progressing status to meet clients satisfaction

-Review of project procurements

JOBHOLDER REQUIREMENTS

List the requirements necessary for Minimum Proficiency on the job.

Identify the required qualification for this job

-Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Indicate the length and type of experience required for this job.

-Minimum 3 years of hands on experience as Electrical Technician in
Oil and Petrochemical Construction industry.

-Knowledge in material standards and inspection codes.

-Demonstrate ability to lead a team of 6 Electrician.

-Experience in E&I testing and Commissioning work in Construction

industry.

-Good working knowledge in all local and international codes and

standards on the related field

-Ability to lead and instil team spirit in work.

-Good command in English for both verbally and in writings.
