Quality & Safety Manager 
Preferred :-

Gulf Experience .

Transferable Iqama .

Experience 3-5 years in same industry ( Steel Manufacturing )

Champion and promote health and safety awareness; and monitor that safety related functions, including risk assessments and training, are being satisfactorily completed.

Champion and promote quality system awareness; and monitor that Quality Management System procedures of the Company are respected.


 Reporting to : Facility Manager

* Reporting to him : Quality Clerck

Relations with other Services :Co-ordinating with other staff for a safe working environment and quality.system procedure respect – S B U Safety Coordinator


Safety :

-Implement a safety system that enables the company to be a safe place to work in.

-Prepare and coordinate the health and safety audit, and the audit process. Monitor that audit recommendations are being implemented within agreed timescales

-Start a program with the objective that the company reaches 80% score given by the external Group auditor.

-Receive and investigate reports of accidents, dangerous occurrences and fire damage, determine their causes and take corrective actions for improving recurrence prevention and controls.

-Maintain a system for recording, reporting and investigating injuries, accidents and dangerous occurrences.

-Ensure Fire Arrangements are maintained in good order and fire drills are carried out on all their premises

-Monitor safety performance through internal audits

-Prepare periodic reports on progress with management plan and other reports for the health and safety

Quality :

-Establishing the Company Quality Management System

-Ensuring that company is ISO 9000 series certified during the first quarter of 2011.

-Ensuring that quality system procedures are respected by all the departments of the company-

-Addressing quality related customer complaints.

-With the input of the Facility Manager ensure that Greif Production System tools are used.

Reporting :

-Establishing the required safety or quality reporting to the Facility Manager, Area Coordinator and /or SBU Coordinator.

-Participating to the Group Safety conference calls.


Has full power to reject any products off spec and stop immediately any unsafe machine or equipment

Customer complaints and Corrective Actions Taken

On time Safety and Quality Processes implementation and follow up.


Engineering degree with 5 years of experience
