Job Description
CANDIDATE PROFILE:

Open to South African candidates

Male/Female, 35 years old and below

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Degree holder/college graduate

At least 2 years of experience as a restaurant manager in healthy business concepts

Preferably with background in fitness/wellness/nutrition industry

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for organizing, planning , directing and managing the cost effective operations of the restaurant including food & beverage purchasing, receiving, storing, issuing, stewarding, preparation & serving of all food & beverage products in the outlets to ensure the guest experiences the finest

Ensure maximum food and beverage profit through effective menu planning, sales promotion, cost & labor control while maintaining the highest quality standards for food & beverage products and services

Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of the restaurant

Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures

Recruit staff and oversee staff training, set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance

Control inventory, monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices

Resolve customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed

Negotiate arrangements with clients for catering or use of facilities for banquets or receptions

Responsible for proper orientation, training and development of the store crew

Monitors the performance and competence of crew and conducts regular performance reviews
