Participate in the review of annual budgets in conjunction with the Operations team
Identify and implement process improvements where applicable; mentor and train staff accountants
Review all financials, general ledger accounts, and reconciliations ensuring accurate reporting; prepare schedules for year-end audits
Works with project team to ensure timely and accurate submission of construction billings on multiple projects.
Communicates with project team, vendors, subcontractors and external parties to manage job cost requests/requirements, including waivers of lien, insurance and any additional contractually required documents necessary to invoice clients or pay vendors.
Review draws and ensure timely submittal to lenders
Maintain a comprehensive technical and functional understanding of all accounting processes (i.e. AR, AP, bank reconciliations, cash management, general ledger, financial preparation and review)
Review CIP, place fixed assets into service in a timely manner, and calculate depreciation
Contribute to special projects and other functions as required
Stellar 10+ years of experience in construction accounting with sound understanding of generally accepted accounting principles
Bachelor’s degree in accounting required; CPA or MBA a plus
Previous financial and GL accounting experience required; experience with cost accounting systems required
Supervisory or training experience required
Strong organizational skills with superb attention to detail
Exceptional leadership qualities with the skill to promote a learning environment
Effective communicator with the ability to communicate with all levels in company
Excellent problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office programs

New Business Processing:-
Handling end to end New business processing starting from creation of Client id,Case start up, New business login, Follow up for policy issuance, Quality Check
Follow up with HUB for policy issuance of pending cases
