Senior Pre-Sales Consultant (Technology)

Position Responsibilities

This person is a key member of the Sales Team. The focus will be on engaging with the customer in the Sales cycle designing Solution Architectures in line with the user requirements as well as adapting Delta Technologies proprietary solutions to meet customer needs. This position requires you to research the best possible solutions for the clients leveraging existing solution frameworks to achieve the scalability requirements for our customers.

The position requires you to closely partner with the Pre-Sales, Sales, Delivery and Business analyst team members to architect solutions that will meet customer’s current and future needs.

Responsibilities

This position will be responsible for:

• Analyzing market data accurately to determine the prospective Generation Next Customers who are key and inclined towards Delta Technology’s Technical and Business capabilities and solutions.

• Assist sales team with qualified leads by using a deep understanding of the customer pain points and identifying Delta’s capabilities to address those.

• Participate in meetings and calls with prospective customers to listen and document their requirements and specific use cases.

• Educate the Sales team on Delta’s capabilities and offerings to enable a sales pitch that highlights the products’ or solutions’ features and benefits.

• Collaborate with Delivery team. Build compelling business cases and technical solutions that leverage Delta Technology’s capabilities across various emerging Technology stacks like but not limited to .NET/Java/Analytics/AI/Cloud/Mobility areas.

• Delivering high impact presentations and demonstrations to help customers clearly understand software usage, benefits and impacts.

• Working intimately with customers to understand their business pains areas, drivers, project objectives and detailed requirements

• Preparing client visit reports briefing the opportunity, customer pain areas and possible inputs to delivery team to visualize solutions for the client.

• Providing roadmaps, alternative solutions, evaluating pros and cons of solution options and providing recommendations to meet prospect’s needs leveraging Delta Technologies capabilities

Qualifications / Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• BS/MS in technical field, preferably Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent preferred with 12+ years of total work experience.

• At least 3+ years in revenue-generating client relationships, consulting, professional services, pre-sales activities.

• Strong domain experience or business knowledge of 3 or more verticals viz., Banking, Insurance, Telecom, Retail, Agriculture, Infrastructure

• Demonstrate adaptation of requirements to the available solutions and capabilities within Delta to meet customer’s requirements.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative technology environment with multiple client engagements.

• Ability to clearly and concisely convey technical information and business impact to C-level enterprise executives.

• Strong analytical skills combined with world-class written and verbal communication abilities.

• Ability to put together visually appealing customer presentations that clearly articulate the proposed solutions.

• Strong influencers and solution proposers

• Demonstrable experience with one or more of the following technical areas: Digital Transformation, ecommerce, Mobile Application development, Web development, customer service solutions, data integration, chatbots, virtual agents, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Systems Integration and SaaS.

• Willingness to travel within a wide geographical area for client meetings

Required Skills:

• BS/MS in technical field, preferably Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent preferred with 12+ years of total work experience.

• At least 5+ years of experience working as a Pre-Sales consultant for an IT Services and Solutions company and associated with Sales teams.

• 5+yrs experience in Local Market Experience and Understanding

• Technical and Business skills

• Sound Technical understanding/ knowledge of existing and emerging technologies, innovations and market selling components

• Presentable Interpersonal and communication skills

• English & Arabic speaking is highly preferred

• Presentable and confident

• Software Industry background with Cloud, BigData, AI, IoT and ML focus.

• At least 3+ years in revenue-generating client relationships, consulting, professional services & pre-sales activities.

Additional

• Experience working for an MNC software product company as a pre-sales consultant for their enterprise software is a plus.
