Our client, a well established multinational organization that focuses on providing transport solutions, is currently looking for a Service and Maintenance Manager to work with them. · Schedule, assign and perform maintenance functions and tasks as per defined SLA agreements · Ensure that all maintenance activities in Operations are appropriately carried out · Plan, generate and oversee the required work orders · Monitor and control the predefined KPI parameters and ensure fulfilments and compliance and report to all stakeholders · Maintain and improve the proactive/preventative maintenance program for all equipment and parts checks on all equipment into the ongoing maintenance schedule · Plan labour and material needs for designated maintenance and repair projects and handle all coordination of schedules to accomplish required tasks · Keep accurate records of all maintenance and service activities conducted and maintaining a cycle of the same · Complete the monthly reports and documentations (online and paper forms) · As required, determine the need for outside contractors and assist in the preparation of bid specifications and the selection of contractors; serve as liaison with contractors and review work of contractors for conformity to standards · Administer calls for troubleshooting including the review of requests for service, determining whether problems can be resolved in-house, setting priorities and performing or coordinating required work · Perform on-call duties for after-hour issues or emergencies, review the nature of the required task and perform maintenance repair or arrange for an outside entity to resolve the problem · Demonstrate and encouraging a disciplined approach to compliance in all elements of the company's policies, processes and procedures · Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance · Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary · Develop and manage a cooperative communication with costumers, subcontractors and partners · Directs, trains and supervises staff in accordance with Property Operations and the property’s policies and procedures · Ensure health and safety policies are complied with Knowledge and skills required: · High school diploma or equivalent with project management experience · Strong organizational, time management skills with solid English in word and writing · Minimum five years’ experience in a similar job, preferably in automotive/transportation industry · Previous supervisor experience preferred · Must be able to install, operate, maintain and repair highly IT and electrical equipment · Requires knowledge and experience with administering planned maintenance programs that meet regulatory standards · Must be able to effectively communicate requirements, storage and handling · Ability to operate, troubleshoot and repair a variety of electrical and mechanical issues within facility and vehicles environment as well as other types of mobile equipment · Must administer all aspects of site equipment and infrastructure maintenance to ensure the timely completion of projects and support activities · Good skill level utilizing computer software (MS Office and online applications). Ability to learn and adapt to proprietary software utilized with process controllers
