Job Description
1. Set-up restaurant and service stations on time before service and according to standards.

2. Keep service stations clean and complete.

3. Provide service in accordance with service standards.

4. Know the food menu/special promotions including preparation times, cooking methods, main ingredient and side dishes.

5. Know table/seat numbering, take orders and use Micros system.

6. "Send" main course order at the appropriate time.

7. Thank every guest when they depart.

8. Know the complete beverage selection including wines, cocktails and daily specials/selling objectives as mentioned in the service briefing.

9. Assist guests with menu recommendations and upsell to increase the average check.

10. Handle guest billing duties in accordance with policies & procedures.

11. Check satisfaction of guests in your station.

12. Ensure tables are always re-set in accordance with table top specifications.

13. Implement opening and closing duties in accordance with standards.

14. Be observant and pro-active in maintaining the table clean and glasses replenished.

15. Handle guest complaints as much as possible yourself and always inform the supervisor.

16. Liaise with the chefs or bar captains with regards to special requests.
