Job Description
Job Responsibilities:

1. Logistics Leader put Safety first in the Distribution Centre leading to a ZERO INCIDENT Safety Culture.
2. Supporting the customer service for specific customers served out of the DC.
3. Key responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and organizing the distribution and storage of materials and products keeping an eye on the cost, quality, quantity, and good efficiency of the storage and movement of goods
4. Leading the management of the 3PL effectively.
5. Monitors the arrangement and shipping of products and goods from distribution center(s).
    Stock control, transportation, warehousing, freight management, trade management and ensuring structures are in place to monitor the flow of goods and materials.
6. The roll will be responsible for the efficient working of the appropriate systems (WMS /SAP etc.) and improvements to support process efficiency.
7. Cross Functional working is required to ensure plans are clearly understood and aligned. Strong communication and problem solving skills are essential. Experience of Network Design is desirable. Establishing and implementing business strategies, plans, and objectives.
8. Take a lead to manage and control overall MEA inbound & outbound freight & distribution cost elements.
9. The role will be key point of contact for EMEA central logistics team to drive corporate initiatives

  • Management of 3PL relationship and performance within specific area of responsibility (Inbound or outbound logistics)
  • Management of Documentation / Customs
  • Coordinating and liaising with customers, vendors, service providers
  • Capacity Management in the Warehouse Systems Management / Improvement (WMS/SAP)
  • Manage internal and external enquiries pertaining to shipment status, Maintain
  • Analyze & report KPI to drive performance improvement
  • Generating cost benefit analysis for any operations projects
  •  Managing onboarding of the new logistic partner & their systems
  •  Improve receiving & shipping process design.
  •  Drive Continuous Improvement projects and process efficiency – in-out flowtions s, capacity management and inventory leading to productivity improvements.
Qualifications Required
  •  3 years minimum experience working in a complex distribution/logistics environment . Knowledge of Gulf market
  •  CILT Certified Preferably
  •  Can do approach
  •  Able to communicate intimately with others.
  •  Ability to delegate duties.
  •  Able to efficiently and effectively handle shifting and multiple priorities.
  •  Should have sturdy problem-solving skills.
  •  Solid computer skills.
  •  Solid Analytical Skills
  •  Should have knowledge of Lean Principles
