Job Purpose: The Warehouse Supervisor is expected to support the Warehouse In charge/Assistant Warehouse Manager for the smooth operations of the Warehouse department. Further, this role will guide the existing personnel to follow procedures, and ensure health and safety measures are being strictly followed. In addition, he will support and assist colleagues to achieve the departmental objective & goals.
Monitor stock of raw materials, Packaging Material, promotional items, flavors and finished goods, damaged items, aged stocks, over/under stock of all materials in warehouse. (Quantity as per agreed conversion units, location and storage conditions) and ensure WMS is up to date at all times.
Ensure smooth and accurate issuance of materials to Production and receiving FG from Production. Conversion units need to be fixed and agreed.
Manage incoming raw materials and packing list against original PO requirements with coordination of Shipping and Procurement Team.
Ensure timely posting into WMS.
Coordinate with QC for approval and avoid unnecessary delays.
Follow Warehouse Best Practices -WMS standard for receiving, Put Away, storage, location, control and quality.
Monitoring Replenishment of Raw Tea from internal Warehouse based on Production Plan and maintaining the stock level to avoid delay in Production Line.
Ensuring to maintain Daily basis Warehouse Performance Report.
Warehouse Manpower Allocation on Weekly basis and allocate when needed.
Responsibility 2: Adherence to Work Safety Standards
Protect goods at all times from damage and build-up of dirt.
Follow and maintain GMP, QMS-ISO, EMS and HACCP.
Maintaining 5 S and developing the process of KAIZEN.
Housekeeping and correct working conditions need to be maintained in the warehouse and at the skip and stage area.
Dust, rubbish, broken pallets etc. need to be managed as part of the clear cleaning schedule.
Responsibility 3: Warehouse Floor Space Management
Manage floor space in warehouse to allow for smooth delivery of tea and materials and correct palletization of finished goods for customers.
Avoid backlog of pallets (either for put-away or dispatch) on shop-floor.
Responsibility 4: Usage and control of MHE
Correct usage of warehouse machinery and equipment is critical.
VNA, Reach Truck, FL, PPT etc. need to be used safely and maintained as per the advice of Engineering Department.
Ensures cost effective optimization practices are adhered to, creates Continuous Improvement culture and implement Kaizen.
Responsibility 5: Stocks Monitoring
Monitor stock of flavorings, correct issuance (including use of correct measurement tools/instruments) and expiry dates.
FIFO needs to be maintained at all times.
Reconciliation of raw materials, packaging materials, flavors, finished goods, with respective departments so that WMS and ERP match.
Implement a clear and defined schedule for cycle count on daily basis of FGs, Raw Tea, Packaging and Promo materials and flavorings. Ensure to cover all Product cycle Count within define time line and adherence to quality objective.
Responsibility 6: Cost Reduction
To contribute in the reduction of operating cost, plan schedules which include better management of utilities, and minimize wastage of materials and avoid damage to company assets.
Graduate in any stream Diploma in Warehouse/Logistics background is a plus
Knowledge on WMS systems, inventory Transaction and other warehouse related system in international scope preferably with prior exposure of the same position in GCC region.
8-10 years experience in a similar FMCG Manufacturing Automated Warehousing system.
With experience in inventory management and internal control
Proficient in MS Office programs and other related software/systems
Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Team-working skills to work cooperatively and liaise with people at all levels

This position will have daily task coordination with Planning, Warehouse, Blending, Production operation, Purchase, Shipping and OPT Team
