POSITION SUMMARY
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Answer phone calls and record messages. Create and maintain filing systems. File and maintain applicant interview documentation and records. File, track, and process employment applications. Create and type office correspondence using a computer. Audit and coordinate distribution of paychecks. Communicate to all applicants receiving a job offer the necessary documentation required to bring on first day of employment in order to complete I-9 employment verification forms. Create new employee personnel file. Design and update the display and content of employee communication bulletin boards (e.g., with regard to employment, recruitment, transfers, and promotions). Post all necessary legal or regulatory notices related to Human Resources in view of all employees as required by law.
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional maintain confidentiality of proprietary information protect company assets. Assist other employees to ensure proper coverage and prompt guest service. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others support team to reach common goals listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. SPECIFIC DUTIES
The following are specific responsibilities and contributions critical to the successful performance of the position:
  • Ensure the highest standard of care and maximum employee satisfaction in your assigned area of responsibility, according to the standard of the hotel.
  • Clean and prepare the assigned amount of rooms and corridors or areas, within times set as a standard.
  • Ensure the highest standard of cleanliness and hygiene, according to the set standard of the hotel, in your area.
  • Clean equipment, furniture, windows and corridors ensuring the highest standard of cleanliness and hygiene, according to the standard of the hotel.
  • Ensure the proper, careful and professional handling of all equipment.
  • Ensure the highest standard of cleanliness and hygiene in all assigned back areas, storerooms, shelving, trolleys, etc.
  • Adhere to the spring-cleaning assignments, as requested by your superior, according to the standard required by the hotel.
  • Adhere to the standard of cost control for all linen, towels, cleaning material and other equipment or supply, for your assigned areas.
  • Use the correct equipment and supply for your work, according to the standard of the hotel.
  • Strictly report, immediately, any faults of equipment, fittings or furniture to the Accommodation Supervisor, as per standard required by the hotel.
